"Need Thee Every Hour" vintage hymns, prayer banners (cute kitty not included!)

In the spirit of Tibetan prayer flags, I present "Need Thee Every Hour"....

For those unfamiliar with Tibetan prayer flags: traditionally a "sutra" with an image of a Buddhist deity would be woodblock printed onto a colorful piece of cloth, then strung together with dozens of others and hung across mountain paths, over busy roadways, and in the home. The prayers would then be carried by the wind, pervading the area with compassion and goodwill.

I've used the pages of reclaimed hymnals to create my own version of these prayer flags! Each page is stitched to the next one, insuring long-lasting stability. Appreciate the hymns as prayers, or simply for the aesthetic effect. I love the way the light comes through the old paper!

If you're interested, I'm selling them and the money goes straight toward my time in Iraq.
