This tunnel runs underneath a highway outside of our office building here in Suly. We discovered it the first week or so of the internship and I think its safe to say its one of our favorite spots in the city. The entire length of the walls are covered floor to ceiling with multi-colored flyers with the same Kurdish phrase. It turns out the phrase translates to,
"Is this life delicious?"More loosely, "is this life enough?" is this all you want?" Wow. What a crazy, strange tunnel. Needless to say, there's a tattoo in the planning ;)
